AIM Control’s Port Capt. / Loading Master personnel services to individual client needs and is on standby 24/7.
AIM Control Port Captain is
Port Operations Leader Supervisor, Tug Coordinator, Loading Cargo Port Captain, Loading Port Master, Lashing and Securing Expert, Port Control Managers, Master Mariner, Marine and Cargo Sr Surveyors and Marine Engineer in professional.

Role AIM Control’s Port Capt. / Loading Master

·   Management position responsible to ensure vessels, operated and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements, standards, and customer expectations.

·   Implements standard procedures and guidelines for the operation of a safe and environmentally.

·   Ensures all vessels comply with regulatory training requirements. Investigated vessel damage, product spills, and personal injuries.

·   Ensures all appropriate authorized are notified and that proper documentation is completed accurately.

·   Supervise licensed and unlicensed personnel.

·   Inspects vessels and her loading / unloading to ensure seaworthy condition.

·   Arranges for maintenance and repair activities to correct any deficiencies. Arranges for coordination of assist tugs, pilots and crew care as necessary.

·   Provide technical expertise for specialized jobs in the field.

·   Broadly communicate daily schedule of vessels loading or discharging in the Ports.

·   Investigate and manage marine incidents involving marine operations

·   Manage inspection service providers including: training in safe product handling guidelines, quantity and quality testing protocols, periodic operational review meetings, tracking of non-conformances and issues resolution

·   Ensure product quality and quantity during marine operations

·   Identify potential impact of significant weather conditions, assist in business continuity planning team.

·   Attend loading or discharging operational key meetings in person, as appropriate, based on risk, business criticality or other established criteria

·   Utilize knowledge of contractual marine provisions to facilitate optimal prioritization of planning and expediting activities

·   Analyze loading/unloading performance, provide recommendations for optimization opportunities and process improvements

·   Establish and maintain key relationships with marine terminals, port representatives and agencies

·   Maintain controlled documents related to inspection services, product quality, and marine operations, both barge and vessel.

·   Inspection of vessels during port calls to ensure regulatory, Class, and Company compliance and seaworthy condition.

·   Carefully monitor the status of materials and equipment for the fleet and warehouse.


Qualifications

Experience AIM Control’s Port Capt. and Loading Master

Minimum of 20 years as a sailing officer aboard vessels with all of type cargos. Cargo handling experience as a Chief Mate/Master - the most important of which is Safety.

·   First And Second Class Masters with licenses

·   Ability to analyze issues and make sound business decisions in a timely manner

·   Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·   Capability to manage multiple priorities concurrently

·   High initiative and ability to work independently

·   Willingness to work flexible work schedule, when necessary

·   Must meet qualifications for a Transportation Worker Identification Credential

·   HAZWOPER (including Incident Command System)

·   First Aid/CPR training

·   STCW Certification

·   Valid State Drivers license

·   Ability to get along with office staff and vessel crew members

·   Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive communications

·   Able and willing to travel to the out ports

·   Ability to work with others using courtesy, tact, and good judgment

·   Ability to understand and execute complex oral and written instructions

·   Ability to work independently with minimal or no guidance

·   Ability to get along with office staff and vessel crew members

·   Must be able to read, speak, write type and understand English in person and over the phone

·   Familiar with IMO, SOLAS, The Cargo Securing Manual (CSM) and Marine laws and regulation

·   Computer Skills: Word and Excel
