Vendor Surveillance is shop inspection, fabrication inspection during manufacturing to control a project (product) on material, technology and function via ITP with man-day visit or president.

When needing someone local to follow up your important order placed abroad.

What ?

The majority of our personnel are engineers, having skills in different disciplines and types of products, typically regarding testing, inspection and quality, quantity, packing, marking auditing within the various products.                                       

Vendor Surveillance services, i.e. following up of your vendors/manufacturers where you have placed purchase orders, or are considering to do so.

Vendor inspection may either basing on basis or by fixed agreement, to ensure that the order complies with your specifications and delivery terms.

The services offered may comprise:

• Pre-qualification judgment of vendors.
• Pre-production inspection of raw materials
• Evaluating the vendors capacity at the time of ordering
• In-work inspection to check quality levels are being maintained during production
• Technical inspection according to clients¿ specification or referred standard.
• Performance or witnessing of tests
• Final inspection before shipment/payment
• Expediting according to clients delivery schedule
• Documentation review
• Check of shipment arrangements
• Approval of commissioning runs
• Current and final reporting according to clients need.

Certainly, if you are placing a valuable order abroad, in a perhaps distant country, you have to ensure that both technical quality and delivery time are compliant with your specifications and needs.

Instead of spending your own time and incurring considerable travel expenses for this purpose, a sensible option is to engage AIM Control to check the status on your behalf.

Vendor Inspectors of AIM Control have a unique international network examining goods all over the world. A typical inspection might involve visual examinations or measurements to establish compliance with referenced sealed samples, a pre-defined specification or standard/regulation. Consignments may be inspected for defects and damage and/or sampled and tested in the laboratory for specific performance characteristics.
