AIM Control offers a witnessing on Marpol VI for bunkering and sampling services, requirements, for samples drawn from barge and/or vessel manifold's, advising barge operator in the labeling, sampling, sealing and filling of the information for Fuel samples according to Marpol annex VI requirements.

• AIM Control has carried out the Marpol witnessing for some bunker suppliers and petroleum companies.

• All formats used for these  inspection are according The Marpol Annex VI in our inspectors have received training in the fill and use of these formats.

• AIM Control Inspection group also provides the inspection of quantity bunker from shore / barges o vessel and opposite.

The fuel oil shall be free from inorganic acid; no including any added substance or chemical waste, no jeopardizing the safety of ships or adversely affects the performance of the machinery, or no harmful to personnel, no air pollution; be not exceed the sulphur content.

Bunker Grade(s)

Quantity (MT) Low sulphur fuel consumption within ECAs (bunker quantity measurements and testing of density)

Sulphur content (% m/m) indicated as stated on the BDN

Port and Name of supplier

On the bunker delivery note (BDN) retained on a Vessel for minimum 3 years

(Product name, Quantity (MT), Density at 15°C (kg/m3), Sulphur content (% m/m) and a declaration signed by the Supplier’s rep. stating that the fuel is in conformity with the applicable paragraph of regulation 14.1 or 14.4 and regulation 18.3 of the Revised.

MARPOL sample (minimum 400 ml) received from supplier retained on board for minimum 12 months with a label, location of Ship’s manifold & date.
