Quality inspection of heavy industrial project

 AIM Control (AIM Group®) offer the quality inspection of heavy industry project at site fabrication for plants of energy, water, castings & forgings, construction, engineering.

 AIM Control (AIM Group®) mechanical inspector, electrical inspection and experts are to expedite and control the entire actions of vendor fabrication to the inspected projects are to meet the standards and regulation.

With the mechanical inspection, material checking, welding inspection, NDT, function testing and expediting services basing Inspection Testing Plan (ITP).

Purposes of quality inspection of heavy industrial project

  • To ensure that procured equipment and materials shall be fabricated in accordance with Contract requirement, purchase order specifications, specified rule and regulations and standards.

  • To describe how source inspection will be carried out.

  • To describe how a vendor or sub-vendor that provides a service for client will be managed.

Responsibility

Source Inspection Manager is responsible for

  • Coordination with Vendor  

  • Coordination with 3rd Party Inspection Agency.

  • Resolve quality issues with Vendor.

  • Review final documentation.

  • Management of source inspectors.

  • Management of 3rd party inspectors.

  • Review and approval of source inspection reports.

Source Inspector is responsible for

  • Review of ITP, Quality Plan and FAT Procedure.

  • Review of Purchase Order Specification.

  • Witness, inspection, surveillance. . .and prepare checklist, report.

  • Surveillance of vendor's QA/QC activities. (If required)

  • Reports of quality findings and issues to source inspection manager of client .

  • Prepare inspection reports (Surveillance / report)

  • Review of standard / register certificates/other certificates.

  • Review of final documentation.

  • Review of final documentation. 

Reporting

The source inspector or the 3rd party inspector shall prepare an inspection report for each visit and submit the report to the source inspection manager within 24 hours of inspection completion.

Inspection report form shall be used and the following minimum information are listed.

  • Tag Number and P.O Number

  • Assigned Inspector

  • Date and time of Inspection

  • Purpose of visit

  • Report Number

  • Status of Progress (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication)

  • Inspection / Test Description

  • Significant Condition

  • NCR (Non-Conformity Report)

  • Expense List

  • Others 

The activity of procedure of  AIM Control (AIM Group®Vendor fabrication expediting is I = Inspect, R = Review, V = Verify, W = Witness, H = Hold Point, O = Observation Point,  First Article Only - Random Thereafter, Random Inspection (Engineered Equipment), Random Inspection (Non Engineered Equipment),  100% Examination,  Supplier Action Required. . .

Surveillance Inspection is Surveillance inspection is a visit to the vendor or sub-vendor to monitor the process, workmanship, and progresses of the ordered material/equipment without any formal notification from or to vendors.
